1. Our Commitment

Xenius ("we", "us", "our") was built on the principle that your sensory identity, your personal details, and your purchasing history belong to you and to you alone. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain terms, what information we collect when you use xeniusfragrances.com (the "Site"), why we collect it, how we protect it, and the rights you have over it.

We do not sell, rent, trade, license, share, syndicate, or otherwise disclose your personal data to any external party, third party, advertiser, data broker, marketing network, or affiliate — for any purpose, at any time. Your data is used solely to operate your Xenius account, preserve your fragrance history, and deliver the bespoke perfume you commission.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is strictly necessary to provide the service you have requested:

• Account information: your name, email address, and securely hashed authentication credentials.
• Fragrance history: the compositions you design, edit, save to your Aura library, and the descriptions generated for them. This belongs to you.
• Delivery information: shipping address and (optionally) phone number, used solely to fulfil and deliver the orders you place.
• Order history: the items you have ordered, their status, and the dates of purchase, retained for accounting, warranty, and customer-service purposes.
• Communications: if you write to us through the contact form, we retain the contents of that message and the contact details you provided so we can respond.
• Strictly necessary technical data: session cookies and authentication tokens required for the Site to function and to keep your account secure.

We do not collect biometric data, we do not profile you for advertising, we do not embed third-party advertising trackers, and we do not sell behavioural data of any kind.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• To create and maintain your Xenius account.
• To store, display, and let you edit the fragrances in your personal library.
• To process the orders you place and ship the bespoke perfumes to you.
• To respond to messages you send us through the contact form.
• To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
• To protect the Site from fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access.

We will never use your data for any other purpose without first asking your explicit consent.

4. We Do Not Share Your Data

Xenius does not share your personal data with third parties for marketing, analytics, profiling, advertising, training, resale, or any other commercial purpose. The only circumstances in which limited information may leave our systems are:

• Shipping: the courier delivering your order receives only the minimum information required to bring your parcel to your door (name, address, contact number).
• Payment processing: payment details are handled directly by our payment provider and are never stored on our servers.
• Legal obligation: if compelled by a binding court order or applicable law, we will disclose the minimum information legally required and, where lawful, inform you.

These operational counterparties are bound by their own confidentiality and data-protection obligations and are forbidden from using your data for any purpose other than performing the specific service we have asked them to perform.

5. How We Protect Your Data

• All traffic to and from the Site is encrypted in transit (HTTPS / TLS).
• Data at rest is stored on secured, access-controlled infrastructure.
• Authentication credentials are stored using industry-standard one-way hashing.
• Database access is gated by row-level security so that one customer can never read or modify another customer's data.
• Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel only.

While no online service can guarantee absolute security, we apply commercially reasonable, modern safeguards and continually review them.

6. Data Retention

We keep your account data, fragrance library, and order history for as long as your account is active so that you may re-order, revisit, and refine your compositions. You may request deletion of your account at any time (see Section 8), after which we will delete or irreversibly anonymise your personal data, retaining only the minimum records we are legally required to keep (for example, invoicing records under applicable tax law).

7. Cookies

We use only the cookies and local-storage items strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to operate the cart. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies that fingerprint you, or any third-party tracking pixels.

8. Your Rights

You have the right at any time to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct any information that is inaccurate or out of date.
• Request the deletion of your account and associated personal data.
• Export your fragrance library and order history.
• Withdraw consent for any optional processing.

9. Children

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

10. International Use

The Site is operated from Israel. By using the Site, you understand that your information will be processed on secure infrastructure that may be located outside your country of residence. We apply the same protections described in this Policy regardless of where the data is processed.

11. Changes to this Policy

If we make material changes to this Policy we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
